Yesterday I did a yum update on may laptop (BLAG 90001 x86_64) and it installed and updated a lot of things and installed a kernel 2.6.26. So this morning I did the same yum update on my desktop (BLAG 90001 i386) and no kernel 2.6.26 proposed. Is it right? And why?

The latest kernel for BLAG90k is kernel-libre-2.6.26.3-29.fc9. This is true for both i386 and x86_64. They will "always" be the same version.

What kernel are you running on i386?

Code:
yum makecache
yum update

Should give you new kernel, no? Hmm. It's sitting in the repo. Anyone else seeing this?

Quote:
[root@localhost jean-luc]# yum list available kernel-libre
Paquetages disponibles
kernel-libre.i586 2.6.25.11-97.fc9 blag
