Code:
grep xterm .streamtuner/config
command "xterm -e streamripper %q";
Sounds like you have the same options that I have. Considered turning off beryl and rip a stream? Also sounds as if you can run the ripper from the command line without crashing. Confirm that please with
Code:
streamripper path/to/url
This is the ripper in action.
Code:
streamripper http://proradioserver.com:10162
Connecting...
stream: FatRatRadio.com - Bringing you HIPHOP "Classics" - NO MAINSTREAM JUNK
server name: SHOUTcast/Linux v1.9.7
bitrate: 64
meta interval: 32768
[ripping... ] Method Man - Problem [ 160kb]
I'd also run top in a terminal so see the active processes during this activity.
Finally does the tuner ever crash at all without you ripping? Say you listened to channel X, then Y, then Z, what happens?
