I stumbled across this this morning on a page about the Enlightenment windows manager:

As you probably noticed there has been a war in Lebanon started.
One of the main e17 developers, Hisham 'CodeWarrior' Mardam Bey lives in Beirut, which is the capital of Lebanon. Beirut is currently heavily attacked by Israel. They bombed the main airport and main bridges and streets, so Beirut is currently a bit like a prison - no one can leave the town.
Many people asked if CodeWarrior is still be ok - and he is for now. We stay in contact with him, even if the power fails and he don't have access to the internet. We will keep you informed about the current status.
Good luck dude!

Some anti-war demonstrations going on in the US, I hear. Any going on where any of you are?

None here in China. The government here doesn't like demonstrations. They quashed a demo against the Iraq war in 2003. The news has been pretty critical, though, for the most part.
