i have been running blag 9002 for months without any problems, but since i`ve installed 10000, i cannot access the net. my nic is recognised, the activity light on my cable modem is on, but i cant activate the connection, just get a dhcp failed. all my settings seem the same as 9002. anyone got any ideas :?:

Odd. Try power-cycling your cable modem box.

You could also try deleting, then re-adding the network setting. I've never had to do this myself though, and I've dhcp'd a gazillion times. You sure nothing else changed?

try this a couple of times:

/sbin/ifconfig eth0 down

then

/sbin/ifconfig eth0 up
