hi there
i had an old laptop with Vector linux for my gfriend, i want to put BLAG on it.
Bought a SITECOM cardbus PC card, which says it works on linux on the box.
It works with Vector
When i go to do a NFS install it can't find the drivers. It may be a IRQ thing. Am a bit stuck..how can i find out the problem whilst actually installing?
Any help greatly appreciated, my relationship may depend on it ;-)
ste
update:
i took a look at the logs whilst in Vector:
its a RTL-8139c chipset, uses 8139too driver. IRQ 10

ok, very odd. I thought i might need to use the PCMCIAadd.img disc as well, so made a floppy of that, tryied again and ithat floppy didn't contain the drivers i needed, put the other drivnet.img floppy in and it picked up the card automatically, so am now installing!
relationship saved :-)
