Some dude popped into IRC and said that the blag CD is in a French magazine called Login. He was gone before I could talk to him. Anyone in France seen this? Got a URL?

I babelfished it. Not much really about blag, but some on "how about sarge" and saying FC3 was coming out soon ;) heh

ok, i speak french so if you guys need any clarification on it, lemme know ;)
anyways, they talk about how complete it is, e.g. has stuff you'd use in real life, unlike Mandrake according to one person.
most people seem to be impressed at how complete it is even though its only 1 CD. one person mentioned something about the DVD...
looks like people like BLAG :lol:

Sounds cool. How about a full-on translation of some sections and we can put it in the quotes (in french/english)? :)

Hi, i'm french too (and im 15 years old so my english is so bad ^^)
I have bought this magazine and so discovered the BLAG Linux Ditribution : Wonderful !!! ^^
In this french magazine, they simply say that it is an amazing distro, it's the best of the Fedora concentrated into only one cd, the skin of the interface is so good and... a wonderful distro, excellent, perfect ^^

Sorry I've been missing this the past couple days.
Anyways, considering Marcel de la Jartèle's native language is French, he'd probably translate better, but here goes.
French:
Sur le CD-Rom : le système complet BLAG Linux, le meilleur de la distribution Fedora
+ en bonus : PHP 5
+ une suite bureautique, une suite Internet, une suite multimédia
+ tous les codes sources du magazine...
English:
On the CD-ROM: the complete BLAG Linux operating system, based on the Fedora distro.

French:

Donc une distro basée sur Fedora Core 1 alors que FC3 sort dans 15 jours... (par ailleurs, j'utilise FC2 depuis quelques temps, c'est vraiment un bon cru.

Ouh lala c'est chaud ce mois-ci
Perso j'ai plus trop de disques durs pour tester les distrib donc les Live CD je trouve ça sympa.
Ok pour des distrib autres que Linux mais dans ce cas là un super tutorial pour l'install parce que les BSD fiouuuh j'ai testé c'est super compliqué l'installation !!! Moi qui suis habitué à la Mandrake.
Pourquoi pas de temps en temps remplacé la distrib par des tout petits Linux (genre Embarqué,...) et le plein de logiciels Linuxiens, ...
Voilà c'est tout ce que j'ai à dire (pour l'instant)

I like live CD's better, because then I don't have to touch my hard disk.
I like distro's with an installation tutorial, because some like the BSD install are quite complicated. Personally, I like mandrake.
I like small linuxes and mainstream sorta ones...

I'm in the high school using one of their damned computer (windows nt 4.0 :( so i cant translate that now, but I'd maybe translate this evening ^^ (maybe...)
