One of the things that BLAG has worked toward is the FSF's policy of not recommending non-free software. As a note, a package repository in 50001 Synaptic includes section "non-free" from mirrors.dotsrc.org/jpackage/. This particular section should be removed to remain within GNU policy for being linked as a GNU recommend distro.

The repository is commented out by default. I don't think listing it is the same thing as recommending it.

Ya, it's getting to be a stretch there, but I wouldn't mind removing it at all. Open something in bugzilla and I'll drop it next time I build apt. Or just add it to the current bug, since many of the other repo's apt URLs are busted (and people keep complaining about that over & over, but no one bothers to look up & post what the current URLs are...).
