Hey, just to give you an update on BLAG developments
New Mirrors on BLAG Server
======================
We're now mirroring FreshRPMS, Dag, & ATrpms. I will add more later. See:

New Development Server
===================
The previous development server is now doing database work, mostly for Indymedia. This happened cuz of the server seizure and having to immediately bring up a database box. Today, I dropped off a new box (2.6GHz underclocked to 1.9GHz [thermal issues], 512 megs RAM, 500 gig disk) at the co-location facility. I am going to install BLAG9002, BLAG10000, BLAG20000, and develop BLAG30000 on this box. I'll be installing remotely using netboot and KVM over IP.
30k Development
=============
I'm now using FC3 as my main OS. I find the Fedora look and the lack of base apps annoying. This will motivate me to get BLAG RPMs built. ;) I've added a bunch of BLAG RPMs to the 30k repository, but they are FC2 builds. I haven't seen problems yet. Lots of key blag apps (e.g. mplayer) are in the repository and are apt-gettable. You just need to add this to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/blag.list :

Isn't there a patch that stops unregistered users from posting more than a couple of urls?

Yeah, it's not really a problem at the moment. Moderators seem to be pretty quick off the mark. It's just sad that there isn't a way to deal with it other than make everyone register :/
