I just installed blag-30k alpha as a personal desktop. Everything works just fine except that I can't download the glibc-common update from anywhere. I have tried to download it using apt-get, the synaptic manager, directly from fedora website, from rpmbone and also using wget and gftp. It will download to 23% no further. What am I missing or what am I doing wrong? I probably shouldn't be using alpha with my limited knowledge, but I just wanted to give it a spin cause I couldn't wait. Any suggestions?

I've just updated via apt-get dist-upgrade and everything works fine. Try again ...

Thanks, that did the trick. I'm having a lot of brain cells leave home apparently or I would have tried that before crying to the forums.
