I've deleted the porn posts and am about to confer with Jebba et. al. regarding how to best deal with the spammer himself.

that was defintiely cool of you to delete the posts as my kid was on here before i had a chance to get on.

sure would've hated to tell him to quit visiting here, or have to block the site, because of that.

As much as I abhor censorship it's just plain rude to post spam to a technical forum, and downright insensitive when it consists of links to porn sites. I've deleted yet another post of his and have banned his account.

Thanks for deleting them! The forums have been very clean but occasionally spam still gets through.

I don't even remember, do we allow fotos inline in posts here? Or were there just links? If we allow inline and we get hit with another attack, perhaps we could disable that temporarily again.

Forum admins: plz delete spam accounts whenever you see them.

these were just links, but each post had lots of them - with very explicit descriptions. not sure whether or not we allow inline images - I've never actually tried it myself.
