Yesterday I did a yum update on may laptop (BLAG 90001 x86_64) and it installed and updated a lot of things and installed a kernel 2.6.26. So this morning I did the same yum update on my desktop (BLAG 90001 i386) and no kernel 2.6.26 proposed. Is it right? And why?

The latest kernel for BLAG90k is kernel-libre-2.6.26.3-29.fc9. This is true for both i386 and x86_64. They will "always" be the same version.
What kernel are you running on i386?
