I can't tell exactly what's happening, but I experienced something similar when moving to BLAG 90K with regard to some graphics cards. I was able to get around this by editing the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf and changing my video driver to "intel". Are you able to boot to the command line?

Try just hitting ctrl-alt-F7 and see if X is really there, just didnt get switched to. I've seen that happen sometimes, but only on the first boot. hmm

isn't this a situation for just removing xorg.conf and letting the system build a new one? worked for me...

Ya, if there is an /etc/X11/xorg.conf you could remove that and start from scratch. Or try the VESA driver. As root on a console you can run `system-config-display`
Sorry it's not working for you magickally out of the box.

ctrl alt F7 doesnt work
i cant get into the command line unless in rescue mode in which linux dont see LVM, so i cant edit or delete xorg.conf
i did even try to mount under the windows linux part but it dont see LVM anyway.
should i give up?
is it possbile to install f9 or f8 for example and use blag cd as upgrade?
or is it any chance that older ver of blag will work, and if yes, where can i get 'em?
thank u a lot for a help and lost time.
