When Jeff is back, I will keep it on here anyways and keep it mirrored. |
It looks like my snapshot didn't include any images - so the content is all there, but the artwork is not. In any event, thank you Jason for getting it out there.

It's cool. Send whatever else you have and I will sort that out.
Does anyone know the IP of the wiki host? If so, send it my way and I will sort out the DNS to point to that as currently it is not working with the link wiki.blagblagblag.org.
How is everything else like the functionality of BLAG itself like repos or the mailing list? Has anyone heard anything from Jeff or seen if any of his servers are back online?

Thanks for reverse-engineering the site. I've sent along a few more images that might make the main website look a little more BLAG-like. I'll keep gleaning what I can and shipping it to you.

Best I could tell, the IP address for wiki.blagblagblag.org is 216.17.145.34

I've been able to keep current with John's "kimsufi" mirror. I haven't tried any of the mailing lists, but the forums seem fully functional.

https://216.17.145.33/ is apparently up (that IP formerly belonged to bugzilla.blagblagblag.org), but that's it in Jeff's range.

Does anyone have the ISO's so I can link to them from the site. I can mirror those if you like.
Has anyone heard from Jeff? Is he ok?

Bugzilla and the main site are fine.

I have some for 90k here http://ks355011.kimsufi.com/blag/90000/en/iso/
Will see if I can upload more iso images. If I can, will put them into another directory.

These have been mirrored to here.
http://blagblagblag.org/blag/
I will update the download page later.
Shall we just list both of ours? It is probably easier and will share load.
Do you need a blag sub-domain or something to make it easier. I could set up mirror1.blagblagblag.org etc so we keep all mirrors well known.

I'm in talks with my company about any potential for mirroring, making no promises as of now.
Do we have any ideas about the status of jebba and/or the servers? I'm guessing it's a wait and see.

What about Jebba? No news? Isn't-it a little strange?

Yeah, just a bit. I hope he is ok.
For him to just disappear and his servers go offline may suggest third party interference rather than him just dying or something tragic like that.
Maybe some fed reading this can provide us with some info. Maybe he dared to say the Presidential Election sucked balls and got chucked in jail for it.
Too easy to speculate. Just as I said, I hope he is ok.
Of course, Jeff might have just said fuck it I need a break and downed tools for a while. Last post he made on the forums is here.
http://forums.blagblagblag.org/viewtopic.php?t=4964
Un-Jeff like to say the least.
Also, I have http://wiki.blagblagblag.org pointing to that IP I was given but it appears that server is not picking it up.
Maybe in a twisted way, this is good for BLAG to see how it functions without what is undoubtedly the most overworked cog in the wheel.
What is often perceived as a very one man show ceases to be a show if the one man does not exist.
I hope this post is not taken the wrong way. Just been getting asked about it and I am as clueless as you guys. So stop asking me :)
Also, to anyone who needs @blag email addresses or forwarders, let me know.

Right, I have heard that Jeff is "super ok and without problems". So that is good. I also heard he will not be coming back to the internet as we know it any time soon.
So the future is without Jeff.
We just need to sort out now who is involved, what people do and where it goes from here.
