Thanks for the reply extraspecialbitter but the blag.repo file was already set up with gpgcheck=0 as per your original post. I too thought this was all that was needed. That's the limit of my knowhow so if anyone has further ideas I'd be very grateful.

Are you using any other *.repo files (i.e. to connect to the "kimsufi" mirror)? gpgcheck might need to be set to zero there as well.
Also check for "gpgcheck=1" in the main /etc/yum.conf file, although I haven't changed this and haven't run into any issues.
So many checks; so little cash...

Thanks as usual extraspecialbitter. I found gpgcheck=1 in the main yum.conf file and changed this as suggested. I'm now merrily printing.

I got my new shiny installation of blag 9001. How do i get updated? Is there any way to use yum or synaptic to do so. Thx
