For what ever reason I can not seem to connect to a wireless network, I don't know where to get the wireless driver if needed, but anyway I am using a wired connection on my laptop can anyone help?

Unfortunately I can not be to specific I believe it is an Intel, and for that command, do it in terminal?

I have found atheros to be well supported under linux. Intel, not so much, for wireless.

if you're running it as normal user, system binaries wont be mapped by default.
try running
for a filtered output

I too have this problem. I have some experience with ubuntu(that's probably not the most popular thing to say here?), but to the definitely more awesome BLAG, I am pretty much a newbie. For to use internet with blag I have to sit inside of my closet, due to my very short internet cable.

I installed blag 90k, but I've got I working now.
I went to the website of the Latin American FSF(I am not allowed to post the link yet, obviously?) and downloaded the latest linux-libre kernel for fc9 and linux-libre firmware. then updated grub, booted from the new kernel, and I could safely step out of the closet ;).

OKAY!
But you can try the Blag 119k alpha version based on f12. It's very stable since f12 is stable. I use it since weeks now without any problem.
So you'll be able to signal bugs and (or) help.
Don't forget to take a look at IRC channel.

I'll consider that, but right now I think I'm gonna spend some time with the 90k, and get to know the os before I try any alpha stuff. Unless 90k is so outdated that I probably will have less trouble with the alpha version?

No! You'll not have troubles. And I think your wifi will work out of the box.
