That's because we're still using the fedora repos :)
The beta will have blag repos.
For the modules, a simple "Provides: firefox" on icecat spec file should do the trick, i'll try it later.

How can I upgrade the alpha to beta? Can I do it just by adding the beta repos or do I have to do a re-install? (thank god /home is on a different partition hehe)

These are mostly just that we can come back for future improvement. Should be changed before the final release of BLAG before things have a greater...
