I burned Blag 140K onto a USB and preceded to try and boot it. I created the USB using FUSBI and the syslinux menu pops up just fine. However no matter which option I choose, I get this same error interruption during the bootload splash: Root device not found. Boot failed, sleeping forever.

I really could use some help. If I can't boot into the desktop then I can't try Blag.

I wish I had cds.

As for Unetbootin. I don't know why, but I get boot errors when I use it. The only programs that work for me are FUSBI and USB-Creator-GTK.

However FUSBI gives me that root device error and I can't get USB-Creator-GTK to work because it won't allow me to open any isos.

So It's pretty bad for me.

so do it like that:
Code:
#dd if=Blag-140k-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sdb

before you have to go in the repertory where you ISO image is. Maybe you'll have to replace sdb by the device name of your USB stick.
II just did it and tested it: it works!

I'll try. However I installed trisquel from usb and since then, my usb has been detected as sdb1 and my harddrive thinks another flash drive is inserted that isn't.

Another odd thing is that I get an error about Vol_id being missing. I have Udev installed so I don't know what that's about and I wonder if that could be a reason for my problems.

k! I think you have something wrong with your OS; because I used unetbootin to install blag 140k on a netbook without any problem or bug.
Of course, you know you must use unetbootin as root?

When I type su in terminal, I get authentication failure.

authentication failure?
try:
Code:
#su -
On fedora or blag it's like that for using an app as root.

Ok I got it booted.

The problem was that I didn't have extlinux installed or unetbootin.

I was using the portable version.

Anyway...I love the desktop wasteland look, it's realistic and overdramatic all at the same time.

However I couldn't really test it out as once again my wireless usb wasn't detected.
