How many others feel this way? Is it possible that we could spend some of the development time exploring the learning process on how to build future distros, so that not one person or a single group of individuals feels under any burden to develop the distribution. But also allow others who have the time to learn and those that wish to work together to find common ground on each release.
Perhaps while one group is working on the current distro, another group could be learning how to build and package for the next distro, that way everyone can play different roles at different points in time and feel they have contributed what they could.
If the current group of developers/contributors could maintain 90k and teach others how to maintain it until we are ready to work on 100k, then we will have a working support model for those that need help presently and begin a new cycle on people who may want to test 100k to make it our new latest and greatest release. I do not think there is no problem catching up to Fedora releases at this point because that in reality may need to happen to motivate us to consecutively and consistently release BLAG with the features and free kernel that we all come to expect.
ineiev, what other areas do you see where you may be able to contribute until/while you grasp a better understanding of the packaging process? How about others. Please post your replies!

distribution from the FSF list. I have been using such distributions from RedHad 7.0 to
Fedora 8, and I have little experience with other systems; after that I learnt that
those are not fully free and had to look for another distribution. I think BLAG
would be the best for me if the support continued.
I know almost nothing about how the packaging processes, nonetheless
I think I could be useful after some studying. |

To tell the truth, I don't know what the distribution maintaining is.

Let me see:
| Quote: | | Artists for creating artwork for BLAG |
Nope, I can't draw.
| Quote: | Document Writers for maintaining our documentation
Wiki maintainers for keeping an up to date wiki
Website maintainers for keeping an up to date site |
Probably, I could do something like this.
| Quote: | | Testers for testing BLAG on different platfroms |
I think I can.
| Quote: | | Developers for working on BLAG |
Not impossible.
Unfortunately, I have no clear idea on the particular tasks,
I must have someone to instruct me.

Does anyone have links they want to post that could be helpful to understanding this process?

Images, sound effects and other media/artistic contributions can be used not only in creating the distribution, but also on the site (i.e. images of the install process, sound themes in gnome, etc)

Is there a specific part of the wiki that you would like to work on. Also, what changes on the web site do you see needed.

I think I can.
Once we have something to test that would be great.

Not impossible.
That's one more contribution toward progress

Do you have any specific tasks that you have wanted to learn while since you've been using gnu/linux? How have you been progressing in learning what sparks your interest? The support is definitely here because I think many have the experiences that they can share and I think its important to know what questions when we hot roadblocks on our own personal understanding.
