I've uploaded fresh CD & DVD isos for testing.

Here's a CD changelog:
29999.00036 - New anaconda (for graphics), new blag-logos, inkscape

29999.00037 - Update errata, re-add mozilla, add NetworkManager, revert to wireless-tools*27*

29999.00038 - rolled DVD

29999.00039 - remove perl-GD, perl-SVG, perl-SVG-GD (needed for inkscape, but comes in extras version).
Updated Obsoletes: for 10k dist-upgrade
Re-added gnome-games, guile

29999.00041 - rolled SRPMS DVD

29999.00042 - Added fedora extras to DVD (MAJOR CHANGE...). Replaced some freshrpms & dag with f-e

29999.00043 - removed rkhunter (added in just one minor rev), readded tkinter, tk, tcl, tix for scribus dependency (only in f-extras build)

29999.00044 - merge errata, including kernel, dbus, gimp, new mozilla with Provides: mozilla = 37:1.7.3
add qtparted, partimage, glabels

29999.00045 - updates from freshrpms, new gstreamer-plugins stuff. Use f-e gc instead of dag libgc
This is probably FOOOOOOOOOO, because freshrpms gstreamer-plugins-extra-video
requires swfec which requires liboil. But swfdec requires and /older/ liboil....

29999.00046 - add aircrack. Fix blagCanyon checkbox bug. Update blag-firstboot.
Remove gstreamer*extra* and dependencies until swfdec/liboil is sorted.
Add xine. Major update to comps.xml
Additional xfce packages. Removed frontline. Added selinux crap

29999.00047 - More tweaks to comps.xml--removed lots of lib* from being displayed
Ananconda has workstation install removed
Errata updates (s-c-printer, python)
Remove unsupported lingos from anaconda
Made DVD too

Note, you shouldn't have libgc on your system. It has been superceded by gc.

Well I just found one anoyance but I was able to fix it. The stream tuner program was set to use some rhythmbox program which was not installed on my system. I was able to tell it to use xmms instead.

Ah, thanks for catching that as I really like streamtuner. :)

Hey, if you grab the most recent streamtuner & which your ~/.streamtuner directory does it work? Looks like it defaults to xmms to me.

Hey Jebba, I was wondering if you would be willing to rar to the new Blag cd or at least the repository. Lots of people use rar now days for there compression of files instead of the typical zip file.

AFAICS, rar is a proprietary application (e.g. shareware).

I'm not sure why the repository would need to be rar'd as it's already compressed inside the RPMs. Also, the ISO image is pretty compressed already as well.

For Linux there's tar, gzip, & bzip2 for archiving/compression.

1. The files are already compressed (I believe they use the much superior bz2)
2. Rar is proprietory
3. Despite what you may think, alot of people don't use rar. For the most parts, its just illegal stuff that is packaged in rar's for the most part...
4. The repo's would be useless if RAR'd up. (Or compressed in any way, for that matter).

No I mean I want the rar rpm for Blag so I can uncompress winrar files that I download or get from friends. It works with the steam roller.

I didn't want you to compress the files in the repo.

Ah, I gotcha. I think you'll have to grab it from http://freshrpms.net as it isn't Free Software as far as i can tell.

Just a note, Chris, it's usually not a good idea to double-post. If you're going to be somewhat active here, it'd be best to register :)
