Not that I know of off-hand. You could probably whip up a script... See:
http://linux-hotplug.sourceforge.net/
and the hotplug RPM. (man hotplug, /usr/share/doc/hotplug-2003_08_05/)
You can mount it on your desktop by doing:
Menu->System Tools->Disk Management
Select the USB device and hit "mount".
