downloaded opera rpm from opera website it stalled ok
opera locks up it was a rpm for redhat 9 it is opera 7.51 is there a way to get opera working on blag?

No, it's impossible, being proprietary binary software. Blag has a little green man that runs around the computer detecting non-free software and automajickally breaks it. ;)
Whatcha want from opera that the kazillion different free software web browsers don't have?

jebba, i couldn't agree with you more. if you really want to use opera (its proprietary, why would you want it?) then get a fedora core 1 RPM if you're using blag 10000. :)

There is a known problem about opera running with Gnome 2.4, the system become unstable and very slow.
If you really need opera, download the static library version. I was using opera 6.03 on my old RH 7.0 and after I discover Firefox...
