I have added smart ( http://labix.org/smart ) a newer package manager to the 49k repo. This has potential....
Let me know how it goes for you. :)
| Code: | apt-get upgrade
apt-get install blag-package-config-smart smart-gui smart-update |
Then you can use smart from the command line or GUI to manage your packages.
