That's right, some people are hard to please :) I like to burn CDs at low speed, to minimise the chances of making a coaster. But when I burn an iso from Nautilus (by right clicking on the image and chosing 'burn to disk') I have only one option in the dialog: burn at maximum speed. I am not sure if this is an issue related to Blag, Gnome or my hardware - does anyone else get this? (Blag 3k)

I haven't used nautilus for burning CDs much, so someone else will have to chime in about that. In graveman (in the menu under Accessories) you can burn CDs and set the speed, so you could use that.
I agree about burning at slow speeds. :)

I think Nautilus reads the speed from the cd...I have a batch of cd r/w with a speed of 4.
and Nautilus burns these ok......
