A wee bit of a DoS

BLAG is on the same rack of servers as a number of Indymedia sites. Indymedia has been facing a number of attacks over the last week. In the last 24 hours or so, there was a DoS (or two or three) against the network.

BLAG was affected by these DoS's.

It looks like its under control now. I found ways to mitigate the DoS and then it eventually ended (or is ending). So the BLAG site & ftp server may have been a bit slow over the last day, but now things look good and the firewall config is more robust to face these events in the future.

Thanks to the nice #openbsd folks on freenode for their helpful advice. :) BLAG is behind an OpenBSD 3.6 firewall.
