Error message when activating redat-config-network

Sorry if this has been posted before> When I run `edhat-config-network`, there's an error message saying "** (redhat-config-network:3225): Warning **: Invalid borders spcified for theme pixmap : /usr/share/themes/blagCanyoon/gtk-2.0/in.png, borders don't fit within page.

May have bee fixed but I won't be able to get on line without my ethernet crd working (sobs)

This is a non-fatal error. It is more about the theme and doesn't affect the network card. The blagCanyon theme was built upon the Canyon theme and this bug was in the Canyon theme and inherited by blag. Basically it's only ERT (Evil Red Text). The error looks scary, but in reality doesn't break anything.

I find "netconfig" a bit faster to use than redhat-config-network, fwiw.

What about your modprobing and the like?

This mesage was typed on my IBM thinkpad 600 using the Lynx text browser, whilst I am following a convo on #linuxusers on the dalnet irc server
on the other (nasty) laptop. Thanks for the help. tried eerything that I could think of. aliased eth0 8139too, just like you said. Someone on #linuxusers
told me to "ifconfig eth0 up" and that worked.

Heh. Sorry about that. For some reason I figured you knew that part, but were having problems with the driver! I assumed that since I knew you had your other laptop going.
