o.k.l after lots of reading and testing I came to this solution:
/sbin/modprobe powernow-k7
/sbin/lsmod
echo -v 0:600000:600000:powersave > /proc/cpufreq
echo -n "0%0%0%powersave" > /proc/cpufreq
at least this one will get my cpu down to about 667 mHz... he won't go back to "normal" when CPU utilisation gets higher, but at least I can watch movies without heating my laptop too much
does anyone know how to do this "automatically"?
