|
I spun a few more images. The latest is now sitting on the FTP server.
This one is based on the final official bits from FC5, plus a number of updates including a new kernel and xorg server. Fresh bits from freshrpms are sync'd too.
The current release is hardlinked to this file:
ftp://ftp.blagblagblag.org/pub/BLAG/linux/50000/en/iso/BLAG-49999-current.iso
Checksum here (ya, i'll start using sha1sum):
ftp://ftp.blagblagblag.org/pub/BLAG/linux/50000/en/iso/MD5SUM-49k
The repository now has ALL of FC5+updates, Fedora Extras, Freshrpms, and the various blag builds for over 4600 packages. :)
Note: BLAG49k is an alpha (test) version of the forthcoming BLAG50000 stable release. The current stable release of BLAG is 30003. If you are not sure which version you should use, 30003 is for you.

I don't have a torrent of it. I'll set one up once we go to beta and I'm not spinning as often.

Well.......................................
You "should" be able to dist-upgrade stuff--it's likely what I'll do myself. But it could be cleaner to do a fresh install in case things are downgraded. There may be a package or too you'll have to muck with....

or.. if you don't have a spare hd to install and test the new 50K, I recommend using partimage to save your current image + mbr to CDRW. Then u can wipe-clean the hd for 50K.
