kurup, i'm guessing r7 can send you a CD.
When requesting a CD, also let folks know if you want the source code as well (e.g. if you are a developer) and if you want CD or DVD.

Hi ajayc!
Blag 60000 beta 1 was released. There is no developers' DVD for this yet.
Thanks,
Stephen Clement

i need those two DVDs of BLAG. (new 60000 blag)
I want to spread the word of blag. I liked the distribution so much. Alas, my download is kinda limited, so downloading the whole 2 DVDs could be too much for me (in optimal situation I could get it in less then a month, but probably very corrupted). Is someone able and willing to send me those?
I want to give it to all those friends of mine who have even more limited internet. Already gave them 50003 cd version, but soon i have found that it is not enough for them.
I can send you disc with something or a postcard in return :)
(or just pm you with a thank you note, just tell me what would you like)
cheers lads

that one will not work for me. but just to check, when you buy it there to who will the money go?
I would support the project of blag with money, but the worlds politic is not letting me. :/

To the linuxstore folks, not blag. That's totally fine by me though.

Matias,
I deleted your post since it probably had a bit too much personal info for a public forum. To order a CD for free, just fill out the form here:

Classes? Hrm. Londoners are lucky in that they can come to Blag meets. You are lucky in that you (big assumption here) have a decent internet connection. You can ask for help here on the forums or irc and read the wikis https://wiki.blagblagblag.org/Main_Page.
I've found that the best way to learn this Linux stuff (and it works for me) is to:-
0 - Look for a Linux User Group, (LUG) in your area or start one!
1-Work out what your problem is
2- Make notes on it, (e.g. "this is my hardware I don't know how to install" or "how do I play music"?)
3- Work out which are the best or simplest options
4- Try them out
5- Note the one(s) that works for you
6- Share the info.
You don't really need classes per se, just reassurance or guidance that you are doing the "right thing". Steps 1-6 can be soooo easily achieved in one night of a LUG ;)
-*- whisper mode -*- Do you know how much I learnt from Jebba and the other chaps just by watching over their shoulders? ;)
