Anyway, I don't hate or judge people who are into this kind of work, in fact I pity them. I feel sorry that they have to use their bodies to survive, that they have to suffer discrimination and ridicule from a righteous society, that they have to suffer disrespect from people who use them as sex toys. Prostitutes as they are called, they are still humans and they deserved to be treated like one.

Personally, I do not see anything wrong with prostitution so long as both client and prostitute are willing. As for forced prostitution and human trafficking, from what I understand both of these typically happen in countries that either outlaw prostitution and/or where the average income level is below the poverty line (former soviet union, south east asia, africa, latin america) and/or where the government is insanely corrupt (south east asia, africa, latin america). In all such cases, the problem isn't with supply or demand. The problem is more that too many people became too desperate for money. When economies are doing well, and governments aren't overly corrupt we see much less of such crime.
As for a prostitute being beaten and raped by someone unwilling to pay for his/her services (and yes there are male prostitutes), that's assault, rape, and theft. I would imagine that in a nation where prostitution were legal this would be a rather serious offense. I would also imagine that in a nation where prostitution were legal, regulated, and taxed governments would be far too greedy for the money to let prostitution become criminal.
The only real argument that I think people can pose against legal prostitution is a moral one. At such a point, we become theocrats.

I do think badly of it but if that's what people want to do, then so be it. It's there life and they should be able to make there own choices about their life. That's my 2 cents at least.

Like other guy said, this is the oldest job in the world so whatever we do won't stop prostitution. But i am looked it with other perspective. We must try to do our best to educate and try to help others so they can have a better life. When we do maybe our community will do and maybe a lot of people will do then we will decreasing the number of people trafficking. Just care and try.

If you sell anything that belongs to your personally, isn't that prostitution?
A singer sells his or her voice, a scientist sells his or her brain, a sexual prostitute sells his or her body. I sell my writing!
Sexual prostitution isn't only confined to women despite all the prejudices I saw expressed here.
If anyone decides of their own free will to sell sex in private and doesn't pass on any STDs etc what right has anyone of us to criticise?
And society clearly needs prostitutes otherwise they wouldn't exist.
Live and let live!

First, I must say it is one of the oldest professions in history. I was going to say one of the oldest jobs, but that would have sounded kind of funny. The bible is full of whores and according to Jesus, there will so many of them in heaven. In any case, I think the only problem about it has to do with STDs. Apart from that I don’t think there is any problem with a woman who sells sex. After all, many things can be bought with money.

Prostituting is bad for those who have to do it as their livelihood. If its your profession, you put your body in jeopardy trying to achieve an unachievable living wage, unless your clientele have deep pockets.
Sex is fine, but there are those who simply do not want to use condoms. They firmly believe that they should have unprotected sex because it's more fun to them.

Although I feel prostitution is wrong, it is different if both sides consent to it that if it was in a forced situation...like what we read about the forced prostitution rings...girls sold or forced into it due to poverty etc..
