On that same topic, will BLAG be incorporating the new 2.6.18 kernel at some point? There seem to be many fixes to the BCM43XX wireless drivers that would be very nice to have. I think...

2.6.18 will be in 60k for sure. I'm not sure whether fedora is gonna spin it for fc5 or not.

Is it inadvisable to use 2.6.18 with BLAG 50002 instead of using the supplied kernel? I'm curious to see whether or not my laptop's wireless reliability improves with the updated kernel.

I often run "vanilla" kernels (e.g. custom ones using ftp.kernel.org sources) on systems. There should be no problem with that.
