Installed the latest BLAG Alpha onto an IBM Thinkpad X30 laptop with screenshots taken at every stage. Located here:- http://www.jayeola.org/images/ss/blag/59k-alpha/

It's functional. It's not too blagified yet. Other than that, just like fc6. ;)

Thanks,
Stephen Clement

Quite fast. My fluxbox keybkindings don't seem to be working but that's the only snag. Fine so far.

/edited to **add*
It' seems as if I am to hit the keys in the order listed by my keybindings. For instance <alt><shift><space> in that order brings up an xshell. Previously I could use any order of keys. No biggie. No need to report a bug.

That's actually kind of cool, cuz you could then bind <shift><alt><space> to another key. In other words p'haps a feature even. But I don't use fluxbox...

Will Xgl be inclusive to 60k or will it be removed because of the various problems I've heard of?

Here are my fluxbx keybindings. http://www.jayeola.org/sys/adm/gen/keys
I'll explain what they do if they are unclear to anyone.

AIGLX is included as is Compiz. It works fine when I tested it. If it doesn't work for you, it can just be disabled (it is disabled by default). Doesn't do much except some cute effects at the moment, but the framework is in place.
