alsaconf

In Fedora 2's version of alsa-utils, they've yanked alsaconf. It's a handy util though. It's needed if you have old ISA sound cards. Anyway, I've rebuilt (and updated) alsa-lib and alsa-utils for 19k. It's in TESTING, not the main repository. If you want it, check out:

thanks for that Jebba! I've installed 9002 and 10K on that box that I was having trouble with and wouldn't have known what to do!
