What is the status of BLAG's development process in terms of porting to other hardware architectures? I know it might be pretty advantageous to have a PPC port, an i686 port, and an amd64 port.
Are we even thinking about expanding in this direction? If not, this question is erroneous.

Yeah, I would like to see BLAG on my PowerPC.

Didn't wed discuss AMD64 awhile ago? The argument was that no one needs 64 bit yet because unless you're doing serious gaming, calculations, audio work, etc. then you don't need it. PPC I can understand though...
Nonetheless it would be nice to utilize my 64 bit proc.

isn't another problem i that you can't use any of those precompiled libraries, drivers or binary bits? hmmm perhaps that is not so bad after all.
Anyways, I'd rather see them improve the version we got than to try and support every processor.

It's not really been considered. I believe the dev box is capable of 64-bit though, however blag has always had a focus on older hardware. You'd have to get the support of jeff though.
Thanks,
