hey folks.
i remember a while back jebba talking about blag 60k, and that if fedora punches out a really nice distro then he won't be doing a 60k revision of blag.
i hope that's not true, because blag has always been the better distribution to use. it comes fully leaded, which i like. you dont have to work to get multimedia working. it just ... works.
i like the fc6 screenshots, though. very very nice. if blag 60k or equivalent is ever released, i'm sure it will excite me even more than fc6 tests did.

well it looks like the beginnings of 60K might be being worked on if you look at the FTP page. If FC6 is something special I'm sure we'll see 60K. Our captain guides the ship true.

In the coming weeks, i'll put out a 60k alpha with luck.
Dave Jones "finally" did a new kernel which I would like to use as a base for 50001.

Will there be a BLAG 60000 one of these days? With FC6 imminent (even with the delays) and the 2.6.18 kernel now featured on multiple distros, one can't help but be curious.

I do plan on doing a 60k alpha release. I have done some work towards it, but nothing quite suitable yet. I'm going to wait for fc6 final then do a release based on that.

Thanks for the quick reply. FedoraForum.org seems to think that FC6 won't see the light of day until 10/24. I guess we'll just have to see...

2.6.18.1 is available now in the repositories. I'm running it right now.

Installed FC6 today and it would freeze after the 1st reboot.
Had to add the selinux=0 line in menu.lst before I could finish the installation...
Otherwise, just dandy...
--- God, FC6 almost completely ignores xorg.conf for the sake of eyecandy? :(
