Greetings
I am very much a newbie to Linux, so I'm sure that I am just not doing something correctly. I have recently installed blag and love the concept and feel. I do a lot of video work and would like to turn my PC into a linux video workstation. I therefore, want to install some additional software but am having trouble. For example, I downloaded the rpm to install qdvdauthor. When I ran the rpm it had a dependency for libMagick++.so.5 . So I downloaded an rpm containing it. When I ran that rpm it said I already had it installed. So now I'm really confused. I had similar things happen on a couple of other packages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.[/b]
