how can i mount ntfs/fat partitions so i can read from them. my music is .wma and is stored in an external hard drive formated by windoze.

or how do i recompile the kernel so it will support ntfs partitions? i think i like to do this instead. but i don't know how to recompile this kernel. in slackware you
cd /usr/src/linux
menuconfig
and the options screen pops up.
there is no makefile in /boot/config-.....

You don't need to recompile to use satan's filesystem in blag.
