Hi,

Just finished upgrading to 19999.00071 (from BLAG10K).

Installation was a breeze. Upgrade preserved almost all of my settings
from BLAG10K. Needed to fine tune a few settings before I was up and running!
And, so far, I am very impressed with the distro and have no complaints.
Kudos to the entire team for the great work!

Now, an obligatory question:

The only setting that didn't get preserved or I couldn't get back is the
mouse settings. BLAG thought I had a 3 button mouse whereas I only
have a 2 button PS2 mouse, I executed the /usr/sbin/mouseconfig and
/usr/sbin/fix-mouse-psaux (What does this do?) to make it a psuedo
3 button mouse (with the middle button emulation).

I can cut & paste in an xterm, no problems. But when I use the "middle
button" in Firefox for autoscroll feature, it doesn't scroll anymore. It used
to work fine in BLAG10K. Don't know if something changed in Firefox (0.9.3).

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

All I know is that its not firefox that's your problem...maybe 2.6 kernel, firefox and autoscroll don't play well together? i dunno

Great work

rhgb = graphical boot. I just turn it off because it is much faster.

well its quite simple.

in /etc/grub.conf (edit as root)

Code:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.7-1.494.2.2 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet

Took that as one of my other kernels I have...just find that line and remove rhgb, and BOOM no graphical boot screen
