Often times people ask for some weird package to be included in BLAG. Ie Tilda (which is a really cool program) and I was wondering what is the best way to do it. Have it put in at the distro level, or try to get one of the rpm repos that is upstream of BLAG to include it? Which would be the best repo to try and work with?

Kind of depends on the package. If you can get it upstream in extras (well, now just fedora), freshrpms, dries or whatever, that's ideal. If they won't take it, send me a .spec and I'll see if I can get it into BLAG myself. Or if it seems really interesting I'll write a spec from scratch. I've done that a number of times as well.
