When I booted up the BLAG-6999.1002 - I was never offered an option to upgrade.
Strange. But I have no desire to do a bare metal install on this box-

Hi gang, any news on the final release of 70K? I am not impressed with F7 so I am hoping you guys can prettify it up a little.

The alpha out now:
ftp://ftp.blagblagblag.org/pub/BLAG/linux/70000/en/iso/BLAG-69999.60010.iso
is pretty rocking. I like it a lot, in fact it's the best OS I've ever used, hand down. I've been using the alphas as my main system since July, haven't really had any problems. With Jebba back in action, hopefully we''ll see the gold release out before November 8th when Fedora 8 comes out. If not, FWIH, Fedora 8 is basically a polished Fedora 7, so it will probably roll into BLAG 80K quite nicely and still rock.

Yes, what noldrin said. Don't let the "alpha" part scare you. The latest 70k alpha is more like a "release candidate" as far as stability goes. Rock solid. Absolutely none of the crashiness you'd expect from anything labeled "alpha".
