I read about the protest after the fact and was disappointed to learn that it was so sparsely attended. Then again, we Americans "protest" with such little enthusiasm it bares a striking resemblance to tacit acceptance of the status quo. It's as if our collective disgust is expressed as resignation and indifference. What the hell is wrong with us?
