Why is that? Miro works quite well since one of the last updates.

A thing I always find useful: Xournal. The latter is cool for notetaking, has more the feeling of "real" pieces of paper and pens than a wordprocessor has and you can annotate PDFs with it which comes in handy from time to time.
Just if you'd like to fill up all the space..
PS: The downside of Xournal is imho that you only can save files either in .xoj (xournal-format) or .pdf. The first can only be read and edited by Xournal, the latter can be read by normal pdf-viewers but can't be edited at all (couldn't even get it to work with pdfedit)
.. I think I'll look further for what could be a must-have.

It probably wants to remove Miro because a new xulrunner/firefox has come out and Miro hasn't been built against that yet. I do have a new firefox built (3.0.1) btw.

awesome, I'll take a look. Even though 90K was a bit of a speed demon, I was still going to default to installing 70K till at least things smoothed out for 90K. Do you need any help on getting the GPG working or are you just going to disable it?

Well, the GPG thing is a commentary on, uh, well, BLAG GPG. ;) But seriously I'll start including all the keys and getting all the blag packages signed, see that for 90002. For now, comment it out or use yum. (I do know how to disable it now, i just rebuild apt and take that out of the config--I kind of like the fact that a user has to know they are disabling it tho)

Seeing as apt/synaptic are the standard blag ways to upgrade software, I'd feel it's better to make it easier to keep the software up to date. I'd hate to need to use yum more often.
