Thought you all might be interested...

I acquired one of those dual-core Intel Mac Mini's a while back, and today thought I'd try to make it useful. I stuck the latest Blag alpha CD in it, did a full-disk install, getting rid of OS X completely, and rebooted. It worked beautifully. The only thing that doesn't work "out of the box" is the wireless stuff, which is solved once I get madwifi built. I'm not too worried about that; I tried the latest Dyne:bolic CD and the wireless worked without ANY configuration, which was WAY more than I expected, so I know it can be done.

The only thing I had to do before installing Blag was boot with OS X install DVD and change the partition table type to "MBR" instead of "GUID".

Blag on a Mac. Nice.

Heh. Posting this from the Mac with BLAG using the madwifi ath0 driver. Pretty slick.
