Well... I wouldn't say "crap", but...
I think one of the coolest distinguishing features (at least on a superficial level) of BLAG is it's kick-ass default wallpapers. What other distro has the balls to have a gigantic hippo on the desktop? :) I personally don't like "Tux with Name of Distro" style wallpapers at all. But as far as those go, yours is alright. It needs much more contrast though. The "black with light black" color scheme is too hard to see.
Just my opinion. :)

i dont mind criticism :p
I was looking for something that goes good with default gnome, all i can pictured matching was those colors. I could have made the blag one alot more flashy, but again gnome default is completely not flashy and is very basic/simple.

This makes for a nice background: functional in that icons and windows show up well against it, but with the edginess you'd expect from BLAG. The "bow hunter" is pretty cute too. :^)

For my wallpaper I took this photo (courtesy of Mrs. Bitter) and stretched it to cover the whole screen. The photo itself was taken in Madrid, New Mexico.

Recently I've just either been using the default BLAG no wall paper, or using a picture I took myself. Once in a wall I take something wallpaper worthy.
