Hi Guys,
I want to understand more about how Linux works. Can anyone recommend a book that explains how it works, and can be understood by someone who isn't an expert?

i've always liked the "for dummies" series. have linux for dummies, myself!!

should actually read it more too. it is written in a very easy to understand, humorous way.

ps - find torrents of RHCE training videos - these help a lot to jump start the whole linux thing.

UNIX in a nutshell. Saved me so many times. You will never stop using it even when you are godly. It just has more stuff.

Jeff did you ever read it and did it help you? I prefer a reference book at times rather than a book to read through.
