well, i never tried hoking up a phone to my box before via usb [always used bluetooth before], and today was the first attempt and disappointment [besides the fact that the phone is not bluetooth aware].
phone - S/E W200i
Memory Stick Micro (M2) Sandisk 2GB
Problem - Transferring ~300MB takes about 80 minutes... :)))
Like it starts copying real fast, but right after 20 maybe 30 MB, transfer stalls to the speed of snail.

If the phone has a card, get a card reader and use that instead.

well, this wasn't the main reason but kinda was the last drop, so all in all I've migrated my desktop to x64 Sulphur, which does it faster about 1/3 of the time comparing to Blag 70K (has a hal timeout error by the end of the process but files are ok anyways), not sure why this happens though, but anyways it is not important.
