Downloaded the 22222 i386 dvd iso and sha1sum. Image passed.
Burned disk, booted it, and ran mediacheck. Disk failed.
Burned a 2nd disk, booted it, and ran mediacheck. Disk failed.
Mounted downloaded iso image as iso9660 with loop option. Loaded 2nd disk back into the burner and did a 'diff -r' compare with the iso image. No differences found so I will try to install from it.
Is there perhaps an internal error in the iso or the checksums stored within it? I just generated a new sha1sum from what I downloaded and it matches what is in SHA1SUM-89999.
