im a new linux user and Ive just installed blag 90000 on my laptop however when i try to use my (ntfs) external usb hardrive i get an error message which says "Cannot Mount Volume: the volume **** uses the ntfs-3g file system which is not supported by your system". I was under the impression that ntfs-3g was integrated into the 90k distribution. im at my wits end trying to get it to work. Can you help?

| Code: | | apt-get update; apt-get install ntfs-3g |
that will install the package which should resolve your issue.
Happy blagging :)

Foolish of me not to mention that the machine i have installed blag on is unable to connect to the internet. I have a Netgear WN511b wireless adapter which does not seem to be recognised by blag.
I attempted to download a .tar file of NTFS-3g and transfered it onto the laptop with a USB stick but when i tried the install instructions i got an error message:
"configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See 'config.log' for more details"
Any advice?

you do not have make, gcc, binutils installed.

Odd. You should have been able to read it fine, you just need ntfs-3g to WRITE to ntfs. Hmm
