|
|
Hi,
I want to try remote viewing and control of another system.I understand VNC is the program for this, and I have tried using it back when I used Windoze, but without ever managing to make it work.
Now I want to try again, only now I'm using BLAG 70K.
I'm hoping someone can help me get started, and maybe even work with me a bit to try this out.
Thanks,
Mike

I've never done vnc server on linux, but I'd like to give it a try at some point.

On the system you want to control, run `vino-preferences` and set the options as you like (it's in the menu somewhere too).
Then on the other system run:
| Code: | | vncviewer 192.168.1.50:0 |
where 192.168.1.50 = the IP address of the machine you want to control.
Voila!
