Lawrence Lessig has published a draft version of his essay A Declaration for Independence at http://lessig.org/blog/2008/07/a_declaration_for_independence.html and is asking for feedback.

If that is suppose to be a declaration, it is very poorly written, rambles along with no care about the reader, and has the bite of a toothless hamster. I would suggest hitting the delete key entirely and have the author spend a year or two studying the famous documents of history, especially the revolutionary period of the US.
