I've been trying to live with YUM. Anyone know of a GUI. I mostly want one so I can search around for packages. I tried yumex, but it just sites there and thinks forever. Right now I'm still using synaptic for browsing and yum for installing. Not convenient since synaptic locks rpm.

Yumex isn't bad. You may have to wait for it to do the first download of the headers (like an `apt-get update`). It also may be blocking if you have synaptic/apt/yum/rpm/etc running in the background. Only one can run at a time.

This is after it downloads the headers that it seems to just sit there. But I might have done something to it by not being patient. (I really needed to get a CD made) I'll letting it sit for a while.
